St. Stefan

Saint Stefan – a fortified village dating back to the 15th century is the most attractive and best-known resort in Montenegro. The island of Sveti Stefan is a uniquely atmospheric setting of cobbled lanes, handsome courtyards and serene sea views. It is connect with the land with one tiny street, and this kind of island are very rare. Locals made a fortress on the sea rock, which served as a defense against the Turkish threat, as well as from the pirate raids. At the top of the highest hill on island, there is a church of St. Stefan, by which the island got a name.

The island was nationalised in the 1950s and it is become luxury hotel. Very quickly, hotel become popular among the world’s celebrities. Entrance to the island is allowed only for hotel guests. Church on the island is active Orthodox Church, and wedding is possible only if you are the guests of the hotel.

ST. SAVA CHURCH

High above the famous St. Stefan Island, rises the mountain at the top of which is a small stone church dedicated to Sv. Sava. He was a Serbian prince who left the castle to go to the monastery and devote his entire life to God. Here you can held Orthodox Church wedding also as official/symbolic ceremony.  In front of the church there is a few amazing terraces which are very popular for wedding ceremonies. All with breathtaking view on the whole Budva Riviera from the high of 300 m from the sea level. First terrace is from the left side of the church. It can fit ceremony up to 20 persons. Second is main terrace in front of the church, and it can fit up to 50 persons. The last one in small round terrace which is a few stares below the main terrace. It is ideal for small intimate ceremonies just for two. Church inside is very small, and can fit up to 5-7 persons, but church ceremony can be held also outside. Next to the church, there is a big parking place. This is an open space terrace and there is no any covered area around. No water and electricity connection. No toilets nearby. It is south-west oriented.

In high season (Jun, July & August) driving time can be longer because of traffic jam. Ideal places for photo & video shooting near this location: Park Milocer, Budva Old Town.

VILLA MILOCHER

Villa Milocer is an old summer residence of Queen Marija Karadjordjevic. Settled in the homonymous park, surrounded by olive trees, ancient cedar and pinewood. Villa is together with island, part of luxury hotel Aman resort. Villa Milocer, beautiful two floor old stone building, have six luxury apartments in main building and two Queen Marija Suites are housed in a separate structure nearby. To held wedding on the territory, you need to book all apartments for minimum three nights. Villa has an own beach which is available for use only for hotel guests. On the terrace in front or in garden area you can held cozy dinner party for your guests. In 2015, a magnificent wedding of the famous tennis player Novak Djokovic was held here. This luxurious location is good choice or for small intimate weddings and for a big luxury wedding party. Here you can have an unforgettable wedding.
